"A Dream of Red Mansions" has been well-known in the Chinese world for more than two centuries. However, in the West, except for scholars who study Chinese traditional culture, the general readers have no impression of it. Professor Zhu Shoutong, Director of the Center for Chinese History and Culture of the University of Macau, will talk to Bai Xianyong and Susan Chan Egan by way of interviews, commenting on why this classic novel has been left out in the West for a long time.In addition, thet will talk about their cooperation process and the challenges they face.
