In an effort to promote research on Chinese history and culture, advance knowledge and influence of Chinese history and culture in Portuguese-speaking countries, and improve the general public’s understanding of Chinese cultural heritage in Macao, the University of Macau proposes to establish the Centre for Chinese History and Culture.

As a multidisciplinary research institute, the Centre of Chinese History and Culture will be dedicated to academic research on Chinese history and culture, produce first-class research output, and organize and participate in academic communication and exchange activities.

Mission

The Centre aims to be recognized as a state-level platform in a few years (being listed as a member of the Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences of Ministry of Education and as a member of the “Fifty Centers of Chinese Culture Studies Overseas”).

弘揚家國情懷 傳承紅色家風:彭伊娜於澳門大學中國歷史文化中心主講「甘心赴國憂」、闡釋彭家兩代愛國情活動合影 為紀念抗日戰爭勝利80週年,弘揚家國情懷與革命先烈精神,2025年10月31日上午,澳門大學中國歷史文化中心在澳門大學崇文樓成功舉辦了題為「甘心赴國憂——彭湃烈士、彭士祿院士父子兩代人的愛國情」的主題講座。本次講座邀請了中國共產黨老一輩無產階級革命家彭湃烈士的孫女彭伊娜女士擔任主講,由澳門大學中國歷史文化中心主任張彥教授主持。講座伊始,張彥教授代表主辦單位向彭伊娜女士及所有嘉賓致以熱烈歡迎,並向在場師生隆重介紹了主講人及出席嘉賓。現場嘉賓包括前《深圳法制報》副總編顧志傑先生,澳門愛國教育總會主席李菲女士,及澳門大學中國歷史文化中心的兼任教授魏楚雄、副主任鄭寧人博士、特級行政主任關小燕小姐、行政人員唐可琪等。是次講座吸引了澳門大學師生代表、中國文化推廣大使及社會各界人士數十人參與。…
