Yang Guorong, a Changjiang Scholar who is also the dean of the School of Humanities and Social Science at the East China Normal University and the deputy director of the university’s academic committee, recently gave a talk at the University of Macau (UM) on Confucianism at the invitation of UM’s Centre for Chinese History and Culture. The event aimed to increase Macao youth’s understanding of Chinese history and culture.
