Jin Tielin to give talk at UM on Chinese folk songs and culture

Jin Tielin, a renowned vocal music teacher and the honorary president of the China Conservatory of Music, will give a lecture on vocal music at the University of Macau (UM). The event is organised by UM’s Centre for Chinese History and Culture. The lecture will be open to UM students and members of the general public. Ma Qiuhua, a doctoral advisor from the China Conservatory of Music, will also give a lecture at UM. The Centre for Chinese History and Culture will hold an event for Jin and Ma to showcase their achievements.

Jin’s lecture will be held on Friday 8 September, in the Student Activity Centre (E31-G001), starting at 4:00pm. It will be conducted in Mandarin. The demonstration session will be held on the same day at 5:00pm.
