The famous library -Calligraphy Collection Exhibition of The Centre for Chinese History and Culture (CCHC)

The Centre for Chinese History and Culture (CCHC) has been established for two years, and has made many achievements in the publicity, promotion, research and education of Chinese history and culture. It established The famous teachers and famous schools  lecture programs, the Chinese Culture (Macau) Forum, the Chinese History and Culture Promotion Base, the Lingnan Culture research projects, and the Greater Bay Area Cultural Education Alliance and Chinese History and Culture  a series of Festival activities and programs, it already have become important academic and cultural brands. Famous literary artists at home and abroad have expressed their support for them by donating works and books. Part of the works collected in the celebrity font library of the centre are now displayed. This exhibition is part of the works donated by important calligraphers from overseas, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Chinese Calligraphers Association. The exhibition was held on April 14, 2019 in E21-G052a.

The Affiliated School of the University of Macau joins UM’s base for the promotion of Chinese history and culture

The University of Macau’s (UM) base for the promotion of Chinese history and culture recently signed a collaboration agreement with the General Association of Chinese Students of Macau, and The Affiliated School of the University of Macau, bringing the number of local schools that have joined the base to seven. The collaboration aims to increase local students’ interest in learning about Chinese history and traditional culture and to foster a sense of belonging. According to the agreement, the base will invite renowned scholars from around the world to give lectures and organise the Chinese Culture Day and field trips to different areas in China, including the Greater Bay Area, in order to promote understanding of Chinese history and current development among the youth in Macau.
