CCHC Visited Pui Ching Middle School

Macao Base for Primary & Secondary Education in Humanities & Social Sciences, since its establishment, has been in collaboration with secondary and primary schools as well as other educational institutions in Macao, in order to promote education in the humanities and social sciences and train talented people in various fields for Macao. As one of the earliest school members of the Base, Pui Ching Middle School has maintained close cooperation with the Base for a long time. In the afternoon of 30 May, 2022 (Monday), members of Centre for Chinese History and Culture (CCHC) including Deputy Director Cheang Neng Ian, Administrative Assistants Tong Ho Kei and Ho Sok Fong visited Pui Ching Middle School for discussion of future collaboration opportunities. They were welcomed by the Head of Academic Affairs Ieong Pui Ian, Head of the Chinese Culture Center Chong Chon Fai, Chinese Subject leader Mak Chi Kei and Chinese teacher Shi Hongbing.

The Head of Academic Affairs Ieong Pui Ian commended CCHC’s efforts in promoting Chinese culture, and expressed her gratitude for CCHC’s support and assistance to Pui Ching Middle School. Deputy Director Dr. Cheang briefly introduced the mission, facilities and past activities of CCHC and the Base. The two sides exchanged views on the future cooperation and finally reached a preliminary consensus.
