CCHC Visited Escola Oficial Zheng Guanying

In the afternoon of May 13, 2022 (Fri), the Deputy Director of the Centre for Chinese History and Culture of the University of Macau (CCHC), Dr. CHEANG Neng Ian, the Principal Admin Officer, Ms. KUAN Sio In, and the administrative staff, Ms. Ho Sok Fong, visited the Escola Oficial Zheng Guanying. Dr. CHEANG introduced to Principal Chan Ka Man the work and achievements of the Macao Base for Primary & Secondary Education in Humanities & Social Science and CCHC, and the two sides started meaningful discussions on the development and needs of the school, and looked forward to future cooperation in many aspects.

Principal Chan Ka Man affirmed the efforts of the Centre and the Base, and introduced to the members of the Centre that the Escola Oficial Zheng Guanying is committed to providing students with learning of “three written languages and four spoken languages” and multicultural living experience, and that the school is constantly developing and innovating, with Mandarin and Portuguese as main medium of instruction, paying a lot of attention on the teaching and training of languages. She also said that the students particularly enjoyed borrowing the “Chinese History and Culture Comic Book Series” published by CCHC. Finally, Principal Chan took the Centre members on a tour of the campus.
